I have long been a huge fan of Amsale, and her Christos collection for Spring 2014 from NY Bridal Fashion Week certainly did not disappoint! The Christos collection has always veered a bit more romantic and “girly”, and these gowns were absolutely stunning, combining a flirty, pretty feel with classic detailing while remaining elegant and contemporary. Amsale used Alencon lace in head to toe modern vintage numbers, hand embroidered beading for a sophisticated sparkle and tulle for ethereal, light flowy skirts in her fit to flare gowns and ball gown silhouettes. The dainty details add just enough oomph to delight the eye, and the interesting illusion sleeves and neckline turn a modern look and into an instant classic.
What do you think of the Christos collection? Could you see your brides wearing these styles down the aisle?
